The forum of Medical Officer of Health had presented an award of excellence to the Executive Secretary, Kano State Primary Health care Management Board, Dr. Tijjani Hussaini as part of celebrating his achievements of 3 years in office.

The award was presented by the leader of the forum, Dr. Jabeer Adamu Saleh who described the executive secretary as dedicated, committed, innovative, and fearless leader who became a trailblazer in his 3 years in office considering the far reaching achievement recorded that are indelible in the history of the board. He therefore, on behalf of his 56 members, congratulates him and prays for his success in any undertaking.

In his response, Dr. Hussaini expressed his gratitude for the award, and called on the members to be committed in their work by sticking to the ethics of their profession, and be a role model to others so that the primary health care management board excel in its activities.
