Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board in collaboration with Lafiya Programme organizes 1-day orientation meeting for 6 Zonal Directors, and 44 LGAs Primary Health Care Coordinators, PHCCs on the implementation of Minimum Service Package, MSP across the state.
The objectives of the meeting are to align on the Human Resources for Health, HRH gaps in all Primary Health Care facilities and agree on a plan to post newly recruited health care workers to fill the
gap; provide a common understanding of the MSP concept, progress made, and challenges; and outline the roles and responsibilities of Zonal Directors and Primary Health Care Coordinators in MSP implementation.
Directors Administration & Finance, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Tanimu Sulaiman and Bashir Sanusi respectively, Program Manager, State Emergency Maternal and Child Health Intervention Centre, SEMCHIC, MSP and HRH Coordinators and their team are part of the meeting.
